Review Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 Lens

Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 Lens Review. Although f/2.8 is not fast because of the fixed focal length 24 (the number of openings zoom wide open), Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 wide aperture is reasonably strong, with increased sharpness when stopped down to f/5.6 shows. The corners are relatively sharp even wide open on the full body frame.

Although the Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 L II USM records the color and sharpness of the departments, the Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 fits well with this lens much more expensive. Be sure to read the Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 L II USM Review, a more detailed comparison.

Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 is very prone to flare and aperture settings off, but slightly improved f / 8 and f/11. The distortion is a mild, but some barrel distortion is present in central and central parts of the body. Some of the CA (chromatic aberration) is present in this goal, but it is frowned upon in comparison. Full frame body users will notice more than 3 stops of shading in the corners, this f/2.8 lens vignetting of about 1 to stop the remaining corners f / 8

The bokeh produced by the Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 lens is nothing special. Hex of the highlights of the focus of a 6-blade aperture is visible in some shots stopped down.
